PU O-Type smooth Round Belt
PU O-Type smooth Round Belt, Polyurethane Round Belt with smooth surface, customizable Green PU Round Belt or Orange PU Round Belt. Made of thermoplastic polyurethane, it has high wear resistance, can cushion load impact, reduce vibration and noise during mechanical operation, has stable performance, is suitable for humid and dusty environments, and is resistant to grease and chemicals.
Round belt drives are friction belt drives. The round belt is tightly fitted onto the pulley, creating pressure between the belt and the pulley's contact surface. When the driving pulley rotates, the friction between the belt and the driving pulley's contact surface causes the belt to move. Simultaneously, the friction between the belt and the driven pulley's contact surface drives the driven pulley to rotate, thus transmitting motion and power.
Polyurethane round belt working characteristics:
1. Because polyurethane round belts are elastic, they can mitigate load impacts, resulting in smooth and noiseless operation.
2. Manufacturing and installation precision is not as stringent as with meshing drives.
3. Belt length can be increased to accommodate working conditions with larger center distances.
