APL Coating Timing Belt
Barbieri® APL Coated Timing Belt: The APL coating is a composite material characterized by exceptional wear resistance, cold resistance, high temperature resistance, and aging resistance. Timing belts coated with APL exhibit enhanced wear resistance and non-slip properties.
Because the timing belt surface is relatively smooth and the PU material itself is relatively hard (typically, the hardness of PU timing belts is around 90°-95° Shore A), a layer of APL with a Shore A of 50°-60° is typically added to the surface. This effectively prevents slippage, protects product conveyance, and extends the service life of the timing belt.
Timing belt coverings can be cut to your desired width and length, or supplied in rolls. (Please contact us for details.)
